Joint Promotion Offers 60 Days of LifeLock ID Protection Service to Buyers of Executive Machines Office Shredders; Specially Marked Boxes Arriving in Stores this May with Promotional Code for Free Trial

2006 International CES

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 5, 2006--Beginning in May 2006, retail purchasers of Executive Machines office shredders will be able to enjoy 60 days of free LifeLock identity protection service under an agreement that the two leading security-oriented companies announced today at the 2006 International Consumer Electronics Show.

As part of the new promotional offer, a promotional code for use on LifeLock's website (www.lifelock.com) will be enclosed in more than 3 million Executive Machines shredders in stores this spring. Shoppers can take advantage of the offer by seeking out LifeLock's logo and information on specially marked boxes containing shredders under the Executive Machines, Shredder Essentials, EZ Shred and Shred Pro brand names in major retailers such as Staples, BJ's Wholesale Club and CVS.

LifeLock, based in Chandler, Arizona, is the nation's first and only ID theft prevention company. Specializing in stopping the crime rather than reimbursement afterward, LifeLock takes the burden, fear and worry out of the consumers' hands. The unique company uses a system of "locks" on a consumer's identity in such a way that it cannot be used by anyone except its rightful owner. The service uses a combination of tactics that include locking up all information, setting and maintaining alerts, forcing banks to contact people directly before issuing credit and removing a member from pre-approved credit card lists. LifeLock's system is so effective that the company offers a $1 million guarantee to cover any expenses and legal fees if a problem ever should occur.

Brooklyn, N.Y.-based Executive Machines Inc., with brands such as: Shredder Essentials, EZ Shred, Shred Pro and Executive Machines, is one of the largest office equipment manufacturers in the country. Its products are available at major retailers worldwide. The company offers high-quality paper and CD shredders, laminators, binders, electric staplers, pencil sharpeners and other office products. For more information on Executive Machines shredders and where to purchase them, visit www.executivemachines.com and www.shredderessentials.com.

"By partnering with Executive Machines, we're able to offer consumers a complete protection package from identity theft," says LifeLock CEO Todd Davis. "Shredding has always been the first measure against unauthorized physical access to your important documents. The LifeLock service complements that protection with the necessary steps to eliminate other threats to a member's identify and credit."

"In a competitive marketplace, we've always presented consumers with shredders and other office machines of superior quality and value," says Executive Machines President Charles Sued. "Including this offer for LifeLock's valuable service truly sets our products apart from comparable models. With one purchase, you can protect your data both on paper and in the larger electronic world."

Consumers who opt to use LifeLock's service on a month-to-month basis will receive 60 days free under the new offer. Yearly subscribers will receive a $40 discount on their first year's registration.

The subscription fee for standard LifeLock service is $10 per month or $110 per year. The company also offers subscribers a specially designed Children's ID Theft Prevention Program for $10 per year. For more information, visit www.LifeLock.com.
